National XC Relay Championships – Cumbernauld – 24/10/2015
The National Cross Country Relay Championships took place last weekend at Cumbernauld. Lasswade AC had three young female teams and four young male teams taking part. They all did extremely well.

Annual Cross Country 1st November 2015 at Gore Glen
Preparation work on the course took place today in calm and fairly dry conditions. The autumn colours around the course are splendid and the views over to the Pentland Hills magnificant.
We look forward to welcoming all our competitors next Sunday to an excellent X Country test. Catering, at very reasonable cost (hot drinks , hamburgers etc) will be provided, as usual, by Newtongrange Gala Committee.
Registration is at Gorebridge Leisure Centre but please be aware that building work is taking place at the front of the site. Access to parking is at the side of the building and additional places are available across the road at Arniston Rangers football ground.

East District Cross Country Relay Championships – Peebles 11/10/2015
The East District Cross Country Relay Championships took place at Peebles on Sunday 11/10/2015.
There were seven teams from Lasswade AC taking part, two young female teams, two young male teams, one ladies team and two men’s teams.
There were some great performances with two teams picking up silver medals and some very exciting races.

Cross Country Availability of Athletes Survey

LASSWADE ATHLETIC CLUB
Cross Country Races Sunday 1st November 2015
Dear Athlete
Sunday, 1st November sees the Annual running of the Lasswade AC Cross Country Races at Gore Glen Playing Fields, Gorebridge. This race is a major fund raising event for LAC and we are asking your help to make it a success.
Your club is looking for a number of young athletes to help out in a number of areas at the race Start and Finish areas at the Playing Fields.
Your help would be needed from 11:00am until around 3:30pm, reporting to Gore Glen Playing Fields Pavilion.
If you are able to help could you please contact Dave McConnell, 0131 663 0573 or at training on Monday or Thursday nights
