This day is all about your children having a great day, this is why we need your help, there will be food for all officials and helpers.
Meeting starts at 10am if you could be at the stadium for around 9.30/9.45 so you can find out which team you are in
If you can help please contact Dave McConnell you can see him on any Monday or Thursday at training,or you can email Dave on

The Scottish Track and Field Age Group Championships took place at Aberdeen this weekend. It was a very successful weekend for the Lasswade AC athletes that decided to make the trip north.
On Saturday in the under 17 boys 800m Cameron Steven ran very well in the final to finish second and win a silver medal (see photo below). Matthew Smith also U17 ran in the 1500m, however running with a sore calf calf he missed out on the final.
On Sunday there were a number of successes with Lauren Dickson taking 2nd place and silver medal in the under 15 girls 1500m. There were also silver medals for Amy Frankland in the U20 women’s 5000m and Callum Clark in the U20 men’s 5000m.
Rachel Robertson had a very busy day finishing 1st in the U20 Women’s Long Jump, 2nd in the 200m and also 2nd in the triple jump, not a bad days work!
In the U20 Men’s High Jump Robert Ferguson was the gold medal winner as was Jordan Charters in the U20 Men’s Long Jump. Jamie Laird also made the trip north to compete in both the 100m and 200m, unfortunately Jamie pulled his hamstring in 100m so could take no further part in the competition.
Congratulations to all the medallist’s and well done to everyone who took part.
Our Commonwealth Games star athletes, Greg Louden and Guy Learmonth will both be at training on Monday 18 August 2014.
Guy reached the final of the 800m finishing 6th with a fantastic time and new personal best of 1.46.69.
Greg was part of the 4x400m team who finished 5th in the final. They also set a new Scottish record of 3.03.94 in the heats beating the previous record set over 24 years ago at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
Both Greg and Guy are going to go around the training groups on Monday night and chat to the athletes and coaches. They will be more than happy to answer questions and have photo’s taken with athletes so remember your phones!
We are very lucky to have athletes competing at the highest level. Please make every effort to get to training on time or even a little early and if you have any questions for Guy and Greg then get them ready!
Also if anyone was at the games and has a programme that they would like signed then remember to bring it.
Congratulations to Guy and Greig from all at LAC. The lads were a credit to themselves, their coaches and supporters, Scotland and last but not least , our Club.
Good luck and best wishes to our club athletes Guy Learmonth (800m), and Greg Louden (4 x 400m Relay) as they start their Commonwealth Games experience with the Scottish team at tonight’s Opening Ceremony at Celtic Park, before competing in their events at Hampden Park next week.
Also to Dave Finlayson, Kenny Marshall, Melissa Robertson and Ruth Szymanski who will all be officiating at the Games at Hampden Park.
