Congratulations to all athletes who competed in the final East District League race of the season on Saturday. After all of the recent snow the course proved to be challenging for competitors with parts of the course still covered with snow and ice and other parts very marshy and muddy.

The Bank of Scotland Indoor Athletic Championships takes place at the Kelvin Hall Indoor Arena, Glasgow on 13th February 2010 for the U15 age group and 14th February 2010 for U17 and U20 age groups.
The closing date for entries is Friday 22 January 2010.
Please note athletes must enter themselves if they wish to compete and their Scottish Athletics membership must be up to date.

The final East District Cross Country League match of the season takes place on 16/01/2010 at Broxburn.
Lasswade are keen to field our strongest teams possible for this event and would encourage our endurance athletes to turn out for the club.
If interested please speak to your coach at training on Monday or Thursday. If you are unable to attend training but still wish to compete then please contact Davie Hand or Linda Smith to let them know.
Good luck to the three Lasswade Athletes taking part in this weekends Inter District Cross Country Championships at Holyrood Park. They are Jamie Cousin (U13), Ross Matheson (U17) and Niall Sheehan (Senior Men).
The Inter District race forms part of the programme in the BUPA Great Edinburgh International Cross Country Race where many of the worlds top cross country runners will compete. This is a great opportunity to see these world class athletes in action.

Three of Lasswade AC cross country athletes have been selected
to represent the East Dist Cross Country Team at the Inter District
Championships at Holyrood Park on the 9th Jan 2010,
This is part of the Bupa Great Edinburgh International Cross Country meeting
