team gave a good account of themselves today at the Scottish Superteams competition at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00f\">In the first event of the day, the 100m, all four girls ran new PB times.&nbsp; <span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Beth Murray <\/strong><\/span>(15.42s), <span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Rachel Louden <\/strong><\/span>(15.82s), <span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Lisa Robertson <\/strong><\/span>(15.94s) and <span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Rachel Hutchison<\/strong><\/span> (16.10s).&nbsp; More PBs were to follow in the long jump for <strong><span style=\"color: #f00\">Beth<\/span><\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #00f\">(3.82m), and<\/span><span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong><span style=\"color: #00f\"> <\/span>Rachel Hutchison <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #00f\">(3.16m), while <\/span><span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Lisa<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #00f\">jumped 3.57m and <\/span><span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Rachel Louden<\/strong> <font color=\"#0000ff\">3.31m.<a href=\"http:\/\/lasswade-ac.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/100_2155.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1019\" height=\"225\" src=\"http:\/\/lasswade-ac.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/100_2155-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lasswade-ac.org.uk\/club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/100_2155-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lasswade-ac.org.uk\/club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/100_2155-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00f\">The third event (Shot Put) saw all four girls register PBs again, as <span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Beth<\/strong><\/span> threw 4.53m, <strong><span style=\"color: #f00\">Rachel Louden <\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #00f\">4.06m,<\/span> <strong><span style=\"color: #f00\">Rachel Hutchison <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #00f\">3.87m and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #f00\"><strong>Lisa<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #00f\">3.73m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00f\">The girls rounded of a fine day&#039;s work by running very well in a tough medley relay (2 x100m, 1 x 200m &amp; 1x 800m), finishing fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00f\">The team all performed well on the day, produced new PB performances, and gained valuable experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;Considering they were the youngest and smallest team in the competition, they did very well, and will all be eligible for next year&#039;s competition.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The club&#039;s U13 Girls&#039;
